Product Universes
Product Universes organize documents by product range or theme. When you select a universe, RAGFab only searches within documents associated with that universe.
What are universes for?
Each universe groups documents related to the same product or domain. For example:
- DSI: IT support documentation
- Pastel: Pastel software documentation
- Sillage: Sillage software documentation
This allows you to get more accurate answers by limiting the search to relevant documents.
Select a universe in the chat
- In the top bar, click the universe selector (the colored button next to the conversation title).
- Choose the desired universe from the list.
- All searches in this conversation will use this universe.
TIP
You can set a default universe in your profile so it is automatically selected for each new conversation.
View available universes
The universes you have access to are visible:
- In the chat universe selector
- In the My profile page, Preferences section

Universe access is managed by your administrator. If you need access to an additional universe, contact them.
